NordBridge Aid is a Swedish non-profit humanitarian organization working with international development cooperation, health & wellbeing and education with a special focus on women and children and vulnerable groups. NordBridge Aid is non-political and non-religious affiliated, the organization primarily cooperates with local grassroots organizations, established authorities and organizations in other countries. Its primary mission is to alleviate and prevent human suffering but does not support projects aimed solely at benefiting individuals or groups of individuals. NordBridge Aid does not engage in endeavors that does not lead and add to sustainable development. Projects undertaken by this organization shall lead to lasting development and result in something that remains after the project has ended, such as ongoing operations, knowledge, or increased influence for marginalized groups. The goal is that every partner organization or party should develop into a self-sufficient entity and not remain dependent on continued assistance after a project’s conclusion. Partnership projects aim to increase democratic development and equality between genders as well as between different ethnic and socioeconomic groups.
